Join Stroud Valleys Project and Nailsworth Town Council for an afternoon of tree planting! We will be planting 30 trees and would love your help.

Drop in for as long as you like to wield a spade, hammer in a post, or steer a wheelbarrow. Please wear weather-suitable clothing, and sturdy shoes/boots. All tools and equipment will be provided.

This event follows on from a morning’s wassailing and tree-blessing that will take place at Miles Marling Field between 10.30am and 12pm - more information on the town council's website.

There will be other wildlife-themed activities to take part in thanks to our friends at Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust. All tree planters will get a Garden Guardians goody bag!

This event is weather-dependent so please keep an eye open for updates if the weather is particularly wet, windy or cold.
